YAY! Sustainable Marketing - Highly Commended at the Business Book Awards
What a fabulous evening meeting fellow authors to celebrate achievements.
Whilst we didn’t win the overall Business Book of the Year award, our book, Sustainable Marketing - How to Drive Profits with Purpose did win Highly Commended in the Change and Sustainability category.
We’re all super proud - and of course the book has been the catalyst for the continued work Gemma and I continue with at Can Marketing Save the Planet.
Since writing the book we’ve:
Continued the conversation via our Can Marketing Save the Planet Podcast, interviewing a whole range of brilliant minds - (40+ podcasts and many more to come).
Designed and developed professional training qualifications in Sustainable Marketing with the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing).
Designed and delivered training courses delivered via CIM and other training bodies and tailored to organisational needs around Sustainable Marketing, Sustainable Business Transformation, Sustainable Marketing Strategy and Carbon Literacy.
Developed the first Carbon Literacy for Marketers training course, certified by the Carbon Literacy Trust.
As we outlined in our book, it all starts with education - and so here’s to our continuous learning, sharing and commitment to shaping ‘marketing’ to become a key part of the solution when it comes to responsible consumption and production.
